A Nursery in Stevenage is looking for a Room Leader to join them in their recently refurbished, purpose-built facility this month. The nursery is a very active and inclusive environment and hosts a variety of dynamic activities such as 'Wake and shake', French lessons, and 'Busy Babies' - a program to stimulate babies' senses.

Equipped with a large, secure outside area designed for all ages, and an 'imagination station' for creative little ones, the nursery is committed to motivating and inspiring young minds. To this end, all food served from its 5-star kitchen is organic, to provide the children with the right nutrients for growth and development.

To meet the criteria for this role, you must have a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Level 2 with at least one year's experience in the EYFS. Additionally, you must be comfortable working with a team of assistants and nurses. You must also be UK qualified and have a sound understanding of the EYFS.

Responsibilities:



* Empower the team to deliver rich learning opportunities for all children by creating unique and exciting activities.
* Lead and work proactively with the current Early Years Framework
* Establish and monitor the effectiveness of the planning for individual Children
* Be a good role model to children and support staff, fostering an enthusiasm for learning
* Train and mentor all staff members

You will need:



* At least 1 years previous experience as a Nursery Room Leader
* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.

* Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
