    The roleYour new company is an award winning independent building surveying and engineering consultancy with a well established footprint across the UK experiencing significant growth (pre, during and post COVID) in an incredibly stable area of the building surveying industry - insurance claims.The buisiness is a platinum accredited investors in people, achieved through demonstrable support and development of their staff, this business has excellent staff retention levels and proactively champion promotion from within the organisation.You will be joining the South Eastern team as an assistant - intermediate building surveyor working under the Regional Director and focusing on a range of surveys in relation to insurance claims, such as flood, fire, subsidence, or impact damage on behalf of insurance providers for domestic & commercial properties.You will be responsible for carrying out initial survey work, creating measurements and specifications for reinstatement works along with full costings, providing contract administration services and project managing refurbishments / reinstatements through to handover with clients. The rewardsRewards for the role include a generous base salary above the market avereage which gives employees the choice of whether to sign up to subsidised benefits or not, depending on their preferences. Currently the salary for intermediate surveyors is £40000, increasing to £55,000 once qualified.Your new employer provides a company wide bonus, meaning every employee will enjoy a share in a team success come Christmas.You'll be elligible for a private company pension which is more than double the national standard, at 7.5% employer contribution.Your working week will be 37.5 however this is not a role which requires you to clock in or clock out. You will be trusted to put the work in and expected to take the time back when you have put the extra hours in, as is only fair!Holiday on offer is 25 days per year with bank holidays in addition, and an excellent long service holiday increment in place.The company offers a very generous company sick pay to support you if you are out of work for minor or major illnesses.
