    Randstad are recruiting for a Sales Advisor for a client based in Fareham. They are a contracting business who specialise in supplying heating and cooling systems within the construction and engineering sectors. The main purpose of the job is to: Provide a proficient service to external customers advising on project costing, design and installation of all types of surface heating and cooling applicationsAchieve at minimum the required individual sales target for each quarter in both volume and value of projectsDimensions of the job:Liaise with Internal Sales Team Leader and CRM Database Administrator on a daily basisReports to Team Leader - Pre Contracts and Key Accounts as part of the internal sales teamLiaise with contracting and external sales departments together with other personnel relevant to the roleResponsible for an individual sales budget on individual projects quotedMain Responsibilities:Build relationships with clients to create a sustainable project work bank and increase the opportunity of orders to achieve sales targetsCreate full project costings for all relevant enquiries including underfloor heating, screed, controls and flooring solutions via use of take-off sheets. Gain an understanding of enquiries that should be quoted based on client feedback and in line with the company objectivesCreate online project files for the contracts engineers and load orders onto the CRM databaseRecord and maintain own projects, including full detailed notes and project information, on the CRM databaseTo have an awareness of the customer base and negotiate orders in line with company sales objectivesTo liaise effectively with internal design and contracts departments as appropriate in order that projects are managed smoothly and delivered on timeMain Requirements:KnowledgeSales focused and target drivenAbility to build strong relationships with customers, while identifying business opportunitiesStrong communication skills both internally and externally to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm and pride in a differentiated productAbility to handle multiple customers and ongoing projects Capable of independent working in a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Understanding of technical sales to the construction industry beneficialEssential experience:IT skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelCustomer service and customer liaison, preferably with some sales experienceExperience cont.Working as part of a team and an individual with a 'can do' attitudeExperience building strong working relationshipsExperience handling multiple tasks or projectsPreferred not Essential:Experience with CRM systemsExperience working to targets and KPIs Industry experienceThis is a full time role, with a 40 hour work week where you will be required to be on site 5 days a week.
