    ​We are looking for an experienced and competent Area Sales Manager with a consultative approach to join the Vikan family, the world's leading supplier of hygienic cleaning tools for the food and beverage industry and other hygiene-sensitive environments.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company that keeps going from strength to strength.You will be responsible for building key relationships and for the growth and development of distributors and end user accounts in the South-East and East Anglia, for predominately the Food and Beverage market as well as Microfibre and Transport.Reporting into the National Sales Manager.Daily responsibilities to include:* Grow Sales in line with Agreed Budgets and within strategic focus areas* Build and grow strong relationships with key distributors and end-users* Maximise the market potential for Vikan* Execution of the sales strategy* Prepare area sales budget and follow up on agreed budget​​* Identify the key end-users and specific needs within the area (mainly in F&B, Food Retail, FM and Healthcare sectors)* Develop and nurture relationships and strategic plans with POI's at H.O's for key end users within target sectors* Develop and secure business with multi-site organisations within target sectors* Initiate action plan & develop on & off-site surveys via Zone planner app to increase market penetration in F&B, Food Retail, , FM and Healthcare sectors* Secure business and follow-up in partnership with A-distributors* Ensure local end-users' satisfaction* Nurture Salesforce system with updated information and activities​​* Professional account management of key local distributors, implementation of quarterly business/marketing plans/reviews* Training activities including product and market knowledge* Joint sales activities in strategic distributors sectors (identify new growth potential)* Frequent follow-up based on Salesforce dashboards & data* Ensure Salesforce update & follow-up* Follow up on Marketing campaigns including support from Customer service* Contribution to Vikan Market knowledge & R&D through Salesforce opportunities, monthly reports, sales meetings and information sharing with other markets & Vikan Group* Internal interaction and knowledge sharing with other Sales Teams to support Group StrategyAbout you?* Experience in a sales role in the food manufacturing / hygiene /pharmaceutical industry or similar* Understanding of the full sales cycle* Proven ability to meet and exceed targets* Able to manage own day and use own initiative* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to interact at all levels* Ability to present information in front of clients* IT literate and tech savvy (All Microsoft Applications and comfortable with virtual meetings on Zoom/Teams)* Listening, initiative, business drive* Ability to establish and maintain long-term relations* Proven ability to maximise and grow accounts* Performance driven and ambitious* Credible and direct approach* Clear driving licenceWhat's in it for you?​* Competitive salary​* ​26 days holiday + BH (Christmas Shutdown)​* Company Car​* Laptop​* Mobile Phone​*​ Ipad​* Annual bonus​*​ Monday - Friday​*​ Home office equipment provided (scanner/printer) Don't miss out on the fantastic opportunity apply today!
