Are you hungry for sales and making money? Do you like managing your own workload and time?

My client in Garrett's Green is looking for a target driven salesperson to join their expanding team. The company are a medium size company, with nearly 100 employee's altogether. The company are a security service company who sell and service products such as fire equipment and CCTV, their main clients are within councils and housing associations. There will be warm leads and lapsed clients but you will also be expected to find your own new leads and bring on new business. You will be expected to be visiting clients the majority of the time!

Your responsibilities in sales will be

* Generating leads, prospecting new customers by calling to arrange meetings for new business, efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects and customers
* Gathering market and customer information; feeding back any future prospects
* Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
* Aiming to meet or exceed targets.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
* Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
* Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
* Assisting with pricing and technical knowledge for tender submissions
* Responding to incoming email and phone sales enquiries - being proactive in all your approach
* Recording sales and quotations correctly on the correct systems

Your skills/ experience

* Proven sales experience - working in a pressured environment
* Track record of hitting sales targets
* Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone, in meetings and in emails
* Be proactive in your approach to new business development
* Ability to listen to customer requirements and translate this into a sales pitch
* Ability to negotiate prices
* Expand on existing business by building current relationships
* Computer literate
