This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SAP Delivery Manager to work with one of the worlds leading pharmaceutical organisations supporting the optimisation of their SAP system for manufacturing sites and suppliers.

Job Purpose
The role is to support the Inbound Parameter Optimisation Programme at selected Pharma sites to deliver optimum system settings for the selected suppliers. The role will deliver bottom line savings and education enabling sustainable process for the onsite scheduling community to carry out ongoing review

Delivery mechanism

By value (80:20 pareto), the selected suppliers will require detailed analysis to identify, and where necessary initiate changes to the system to deliver the following for each supplier.



* Alignment of the supplier Inbound parameters in the system
* Analysis of strategic and operational safety stock to determine optimum levels
* Analysis of the buying patterns to determine the optimum cost V price EOQ
* Alignment between site and procurement on the recommended EOQs

At each site increase the knowledge level of the Materials Scheduling community by



* Involving the staff in the process from start to finish
* Training on the parameter extraction process
* Use of the buying pattern tool
* Introduction to contacts in the procurement resources

Key responsibilities



* Stakeholder management of both on site and above site leadership and teams will be essential to the success of this programme. The delivery manager is responsible for ensuring that all the necessary change management and embedding activities are carried out during the delivery to ensure change is sustained.
* The Delivery Manager needs to have an E2E supply chain perspective and be able to deploy the delivery mechanism in a manner to engage and inspire the site material scheduling community.
* Be accountable for the Site delivery, programme communications and report risk and impact to delivery via the governance process
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Inbound Parameter Optimisation Programme content and approach

Experience / Skills



* Experience of SAP ECC / R3 in the PP/MM/MR (master recipe) space
* Operational experience of materials/production scheduling and production planning
* Strong leadership capability, with clear credibility as a Subject Matter Expert in scheduling (and planning)
* Ability to make an impact quickly - the programme will operate in 6 to 8 week executions
* Demonstrable change management skills - particularly focused on people
* Project managements skills - structure a project plan, meet weekly and monthly targets
* Prior pharmaceutical experience is not essential, but an advantage
* Operating mainly with travel to various sites with some time based from Brentford London (will vary by project phase but typically 90% sites to 10% Brentford)
