Are you looking for a Business Manager opportunity based near Preston?

This specialist school near Preston pride themselves on making a big impact in the lives of their pupils. They are looking to appoint a School Business Manager (grade 10/11) to start May 2019.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a school (HR/ facilities/ finance/ governance/ pupil record keeping etc), be proficient in SIMS and ideally have experience of working in a SEN environment.

The role will involve assisting with the day to day administration and management of the extremely busy school office, assisted by 3 other members of office staff.

The successful applicant will hold a key role within the school and be responsible for completing tasks that ensure a smooth and professional operation.

This is a part-time role (with flexible hours and days) for 12 -18 months.

Responsibilities of the role will include



* Providing excellent financial and administrative services
* Maintaining accurate computerised records and systems
* Being the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors
* Using school software packages including ParentPay and SIMS or similar education MIS systems

Requirements



* A high level of office management and administrative skills
* Computer literacy
* A knowledge of procurement, ordering, processing invoices etc
* Experience handling data and data protection regulations
* Clear and confident communication skills, both verbally and written form
* An enhanced DBS
* Working towards CSBM or equivalent qualification
