Are you a fully qualified teacher of science with recent experience of teaching general sciences across key stage 3 and key stage 4?

Do you have the ability to deliver Physics to key stage 5 students and knowledge of the Physics A-Level curriculum?

Responsibilities:



* Engage students in Science lessons using a mixture of different teaching strategies
* Ensure students are learning to their full potential
* Create a safe and secure learning environment
* Be approachable and create professional rapport with students
* Promote a positive attitude at all times to ensure students believe in themselves and are fully motivated

Requirements:



* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* Deliver Science lessons to key stage 3, key stage 4 and key stage 5 students covering all aspects of the Science curriculum.
* Ability to deliver A-Level Physics (desirable but not essential)
* Attend school meetings and parents evenings as and when required
* Create strong working relationships with your students

The school is a non-selective, co-educational state-funded secondary school based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The school is looking for a fully qualified Science Teacher to start in January 2019 (unless you are available to start sooner). The vacancy is for a permanent, full-time position.
