Company Overview

The Facilities division of a leading construction & property company are recruiting a Sector Projects Manager to work across their Education and Local Authority client portfolio. They are looking for someone with strong facilities management / life cycle project management experience to be the focal point for all project work within this national division.

The role is advertised for Manchester, but given the role's national coverage, candidates from the rest of the North West, Yorkshire and the North East will be considered.

Your Package

* £53,000 - £60,000

Your Responsibilities

* Manage a projects tracker for all project works within the sector, measuring the commercial status of each project
* Work closely with the Asset Management team and other Project Managers to develop a life cycle works plan across the sector
* Lead pre-start meetings for all major projects within the Sector, and hand over the day-to-day running of each project to the local project management team
* Carry out spot check site audits from a HSEQ perspective
* Be a central point for all technical queries within the Sector
* Be part of the approval process for all invoices within the Sector
* Drive growth with new and existing clients
* Compile annual life cycle reports to better manage projects
* Report into the Operations Director for the Sector
* Liaise with Senior Project Managers, Procurement Manager, Asset Management Team and others within the company.

Your Skills & Qualifications

* Strong commercial acumen
* High attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* IOSH Managing Safely
* Professional membership with MCIOB or MRICS is desired
* Extensive experience of managing life cycle project works is essential
