SEN - Learning Support Assistant - Teaching Assistant

To start ASAP - Interview immediately - will wait for notice period if needed.

We have been asked to support a local Education centre in the Luton area in recruiting an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support in classes and work 1:1 with young people who may have behavioural or learning difficulties.

This centre takes on students who are excluded form mainstream schools for a variety of reasons around leaning or behaviour or some students who need additional support due to a difficult home life. Your teaching will be based on either 1:1 circumstances or small groups. This position comes with leadership tasks such as planning of curriculum and working along side other education specialists.

The centre relocated to new Bigger and better facilities 2 years ago, and is forever expanding with it success. Leavers in 2015 achieved an average score of 222 points which is equivalent to over 5.5 GCSEs at Grade C.
