Do you have a passion for teaching and have previously worked with SEN children in specialised schools on a one-to-one basis? If so, this could be the role for you!

I am looking for a SEN teacher to work at various schools across Essex, supporting students with a variety of subjects on a day-to-day supply basis. The children have a range of additional needs such as SEMH and autism.

Responsibilities



* Plan, deliver and assess outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable SEN / SEMH young people to learn
* Engage and motivate pupils
* Inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, parents and other professionals
* Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom
* Promote the wider aspirations and values of the school
* Ensure you uphold all safeguarding procedures, including engaging in annual safeguarding training, including induction training.

Requirements



* Successful class teaching experience
* Experience of working with children with SEN, SEMH or ASC
* A commitment to ongoing professional development
* Excellent knowledge of the specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught
* Degree
* QTS
