I am recruiting for an outstanding class teacher to join a warm and welcoming SEN school in the Dorking area. The successful candidate will have the compassion needed to perform this role and must be committed to providing the best educational opportunities for a class of 6-8 students within primary or secondary settings. The students have a range of special needs including ASD and speech and language needs.

-Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons
-Assist students during class, making sure they are on track
-Liaise with support staff to ensure a smooth running class
-Enable learners to access the curriculum
-Support the pastoral needs of the learners
-Be an active part in setting the learning environment
-Use your interests to engage students in learning

Key skills and experience needed:
-Qualified teacher status is desirable but not essential
-The ability to work with learners that have various learning difficulties
-A willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
-Confidence in supporting group work in different educational subjects
-The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team
-Flexibility in your approach to education
