I am recruiting for an outstanding teaching assistant to join an SEN school in the Crawley area. The students are aged between 5 and 19 years and the majority are on the Autistic spectrum. Your role as a teaching assistant will be to support and guide the students through their school day making sure they have a fun and positive educational experience. Your role will be permanent and full time with paid school holidays.

* Supporting a small of group of students educationally
* Encourage learners to be independent
* Comfortable with, and confident to, work directly with students
* Positive and compassionate attitude towards learners

The ideal candidate may posses the following skills and capabilities:
* To provide teaching assistance to the teacher
* To provide group and/or individual activities, planned by the teacher
* To support the general well being of learners within the structure of the school
* To monitor and evaluate student's learning under the guidance of the teacher
* To assist teachers in the use of relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning to take place
* To support all learners in their planned structured work in all curriculum areas
