Can you build confidence and independence in children with SEN? Can you provide a fun, interactive and practical environment across all aspects of learning? Do you have experience working with children?

If you are an enthusiastic, engaging and dedicated Teaching Assistant, a fantastic SEN school near the Crawley are looking for you! This is a great opportunity to gain skills in interactive and practical learning and teaching techniques for children with a range of learning difficulties and speech and language needs. You will have the chance to get stuck into to outdoor educational activities and trips and receive constant support from your team.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Providing feedback to teacher on progress and development
-Supporting the general wellbeing of learners
-Supervising and striving to improve behaviour
-Taking part in and supervising outdoor activities and educational trips
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Own means of transport is essential
-Have an understanding of and an interest in SEN.
-Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with children.
-Be confident to lead small groups in different educational subjects.
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Be able to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
