Can you provide support for children who have difficulty accessing the curriculum? Do you have the ability to create tailored learning to individual needs? Do you have a passion for making a difference in young people's lives?

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic trainee teacher to work in a specialised SEN school in the Guildford area. If your aim is to improve the learning, development and social skills of children aged 7-19 who have a wide range of learning disabilities, then this is the role for you! This role will give you the opportunity to complete a free teaching qualification in a school that has the resources and facilities to enable you to do this to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting students in the classroom and at play
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Working 1:1 with pupils to support learning and development needs
-Supporting the general well-being of students
-Interacting with pupils to aid and develop social skills

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-GCSE English Language and Mathematics
-Experience of working with children aged 7-19 with or without SEN
-Interest in the issue of SEN/ASD
-Organisational and communication skills
-Commitment to regular development training programme
