A big and beautiful SEN school in the Haywards Heath area are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN TA to join their lovely primary unit. You will be supporting 4 students in creative and outdoor lessons such as sport, forest school and horse riding activities. The school caters for students aged 6-16 with Autism and EBD.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Taking part in and supervising outdoor activities and educational trips
-Supporting the general well being of learners
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Providing feedback to teacher on progress and development
-Supervising and striving to improve behaviour
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Own means of transport is essential
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with children.
-Have an understanding of and an interest in SEN.
-Be confident to lead small groups in different educational subjects.
-Be able to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
