The successful candidate will be working with room leaders and other support workers to support children with varying difficulties. Some children will require 1-to-1 support so you will be allocated to that particular child whilst others with have less dependability so can be supervised on a 3-to-1 ratio. The school in Worcester Park will be equipped with a range or toys and ideas for activities to stimulate the children throughout the course of the day.

Job responsibilities:

- To work alongside the other support staff to help children overcome barriers to socialising and learning
- Build students character and confidence to communicate effectively
- Provide a happy and positive environment
- Adaptable to work alongside students in Primary - college level
- Attend meetings with staff and line manager to feedback on activity through out the day

Key skills:

- To have a general understanding of Special educational needs
- Experience in SEN education, Support worker and youth worker roles
- It is preferable but not essential if you can drive
- Motivated to make a difference to students educational process
