The specialised school based in the Worthing area is looking for an SEN teaching assistant who will be a vital part of a very successful team.

The students (KS1 and KS2) have a variety of special needs as they are mostly on the autistic spectrum (ASC) as well as having social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) which comes with its challenges and its strengths.

Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting schoolwork under the supervision of the teacher.
Preparing learning resources.
Encouraging children's confidence, self esteem and independence.
Helping children understand instructions, through repetition, re-phrasing or demonstrating.
