Senior Asset Surveyor

Are you looking to progress to a more senior position? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Asset Surveyor within a Housing Association based in North London.

Post: Senior Asset Surveyor

Rate: Circa £41,000 - £42,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Senior Asset Surveyor to deliver investment and compliance programmes and feasibility studies to time, cost and quality, ensuring a positive customer experience.

The main duties of the role are as followings;



* Identifying and commissioning targeted, value for money asset investment plans to ensure the on-going fit for purpose nature of the stock.
* Managing contractors in accordance with their contractual terms, making recommendations for improvements and implementing actions.
* Ensuring investment works are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements and making appropriate recommendations on changes that may need to be made mid-projec
* Producing appropriate documentation for work specifications and tenders and assisting in drafting and reviewing policies and procedures.
* Implementing appropriate practices and policies that enforce the effective application of good practice and legal compliance.


* Develop, maintain and influence relationships with key stakeholders and partners e.g. residents, community stakeholders, the Greater London Authority, Countryside Properties and the local authority.

Requirements



* Experience within the Social Housing Sector.
* A building related degree is essential.
* Working knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practices.
* Some experience in tendering, contract documentation and Construction Design and Management is desirable.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
