Would you be interested in working within the in-house design team of a large main contractor? If so then this role could be for you. A Senior Cad Technician is required to join the Company to work in their London Office.

Having grown in the transmission & distribution sector this multidisciplinary consultancy have won a number of key projects within the UK. The required senior technician will be reporting to the sector director and will be responsible in carrying out any draughting with AutoCad, microstation and other draughting tools.

The candidate must have proven experience in the transmission and distribution sector and must have a decent understanding of technical aspects of High Voltage (HV) Underground Cables, Overhead lines (OHL) and Substations.

The minimum required qualification would be at HNC level, ideally the candidate will have achieved EngTech, MIET or MICE Status, or should be working towards that.

The ideal applicant should be proficient in the following software's:



* Autocad 2D and 3D
* Bentley Microstation
* Experience of Revit advantageous but not essential

The candidate should possess good demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills.

The office for this consultancy is based in Ec1, in the heart of the city.
