Would you be interested in working within the in-house design team of a large main contractor? If so then this role could be for you. A Senior Civil and Structural Technician is required to join the Company to work in their London Office.

The selected candidate will be working within a multidisciplinary team, and be responsible for generating high quality and accurate detailed records of civil and structural engineering project documentation. You will have lead responsibility of all drawings. You will manage all other CAD Technicians and work with and support junior staff. You will also be comfortable to develop and promote the use of BIM within the department.

The minimum required qualification would be at HNC/HND level, ideally the candidate will have achieved EngTech, or TMICE Status, or should be working towards that.

The ideal applicant should be fully proficient within the use of Microstation, Aecosim (Bentley structural), Projectwise, Autocad 2d/3d and have significant CAD experience within the rail sector. Working knowledge of Revit Autodesk would be desirable.

The candidate should possess good demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills.

The office for this consultancy is based in EC1, in the heart of the city.
