Job Description: Internal Communications Sr. Specialist, UK

Type: Contract, 6 months (potential to extend)
Location: UK (London)

The Internal Communications Sr. Specialist, UK, is a creative, strategic communicator who is passionate about delivering innovative and impactful communications plans that engage and inspire employees.

This individual will develop, execute, and manage a communications strategy for our UK business that connects employees to local leaders, informs them about news and initiatives, engages them in an ongoing and meaningful dialogue, and inspires them to take action.

We are looking for an equal parts thinker and doer who is energized by working with diverse teams to create impactful and strategic communications. This person must be a brilliant writer with an innovative and solution-oriented mind-set, and be able to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment.

This is a short-term contract role to establish a new program of communication. The aim is to lay the ground work for a sustainable future approach, and the potential to extend this opportunity will be evaluated toward the end of the contract.


* Provide tailored support for the EVP & GM of our client, the broader UK Leadership Team and other UK stakeholders on planning and executing internal comms activities.
* Ensure strong alignment and balance of UK strategy with broader EMEA region, International & Global comms activities.
* Curate and develop bespoke internal UK content to profile the best of what's happening in the UK our clients team
* Partner with key stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives and/or changes, develop integrated communications plans, and execute thoughtfully.
* Guide strategy, messaging, positioning, and planning that meet collective objectives.
* Influence partners and stakeholders as needed to ensure communications are compelling and aligned with not only our vision and values, but also our voice and tone.
* Write memorable, engaging communications that drive awareness of key initiatives and inspire employees to take action across channels - including but not limited to email, digital screens, Chatter (our internal social network), and video.
* Track campaign results and work with our team and business partners to apply key learnings and consistently improve future efforts.

**Experience/skills required:**

* 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications or a related discipline. Experience in a high tech or other fast-paced, disruptive environment a plus.
* A brilliant communicator and highly creative writer experienced in crafting compelling messaging and narratives. Can generate and execute "breakout" ideas.
* Proven track record developing and executing creative internal communications plans.
* Experienced in email and social media marketing.
* Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications.
* Ability to manage, and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and nimble environment.
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Dynamic, charismatic, confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proactive and results-oriented.
* Not opposed to a healthy dose of fun.
