Senior JVM & Linux Developer - London

A leading financial services organisation in London have an immediate need for an experienced Software Developer working in JVM languages (Java, Scala or Kotlin) and Linux. You will be part of a collaborative team of talented software developers, working together to solve complex technical problems on some of their most high profile platforms. This is a permenent role that offers a very competitive salary and a significant bonus, pension and benefits. Base salary can go into six figures.

The business is currently going through a major transformation programme - completely rebuilding their development platform for one of the major trading desks. No prior financial services experience is required. Instead, the priority is to find the very best software developers who have a collaborative working approach and are used to operating in an agile environment.

As the successful candidate you must have:

- Strong experience as a Software Engineer, working with either Java, Scala or Kotlin

- Experience of Linux

- TDD

- Agile development processes

- Pair Programming and other collaborative techniques would be a strong advantage

- A friendly, professional approach and excellent communication skills
