£16.41 per hour

£30,719 - £40,959

I am currently looking for an experienced Nurse to join the hardworking team at our client's service based in Oxley, Wolverhampton. This is a 23 bedded intermediate step down service for older adults that have complex medical conditions and injuries.

Contracted by the NHS , they are part of a "step down service" for those requiring further nursing, medical supervision and re-ablement support following hospital admission; the average stay prior to discharge is 6 weeks.

Responsibilities of a Senior Nurse:



* You will deliver the best in care, in turn you will receive the best rewards, development and training.
* Planning, managing, directing and monitoring the delivery of the highest quality nursing care.
* Taking great pride in upholding the highest clinical standards, you'll make sure your team of nurses and carers keep abreast of all the latest developments in care.
* To assess the physical, psychological and social needs of all your residents
* To implement person-centered plans that meet the residents needs.
* Planning rotas, recruiting, training and mentoring staff, helping co-ordinate comprehensive daily activity plans, or building strong relationships with local regulators and social services, you'll ensure your unit goes from strength to strength.
* Stringent quality control will be key too, as you ensure we're complying with the NMC guidelines on administration of medicine, meeting safeguarding regulations and keeping records scrupulously.


Successful candidates must have an active PIN and be registered with NMC , 2 years post nursing experience is desirable.
