A rare opportunity has arisen to join this top London design consultancy. They are recognised as one of the most progressive and successful cutting edge practices in their field. They collaborate with the best architects, developers and contractors both in the UK and internationally. They have built up a reputation for innovation, creativity and delivery and, as a consequence, have won numerous high profile awards for their buildings design projects. Their work is usually high profile and architecturally led.

The vacancy is well suited to an engineer with several years experience and a desire to work alongside an innovative group within a design-led company. You will be working on a variety of projects, located both in the UK and overseas.

The company has recently moved to a brand new office which is open plan and very stylish. There are currently around 280 people in the office and this includes an architectural firm that the company have joined up with.

The company are involved in various different projects and engineers are rotated around different teams providing the opportunity to gain experience on various different types of structural projects. Your role will be to produce calculations and drawings for the projects. Part of your role will also include providing guidance to more junior engineers within the team. Additionally, this will be a client facing role with regular meetings and site visits ensuring projects are completed to the highest of standards.

Suitable candidates will have several years experience in a Structural Engineering role. You should be well proficient with software such as AutoCAD and have worked on projects using concrete, steel, timber and masonry. You should have a degree in either Civil or Structural Engineering and either be Chartered or near Chartered with either the ICE or IstructE.
