Position: Senior Technical Coordinator
Location: Essex
Package: Competitive Salary + Package (Inc Car Allowances)

Do you have experience working with a main contractor as a Technical Coordinator? Would you be interested in working for one of the UK's leading main contractors in London? Are you looking for a role where you can further develop your skills set and build your career?

One of my partnership clients is looking for a Senior Technical Coordinator to join their team for a new project in Essex. This is an exciting time for someone to join them as they are looking to create a new team to start working on this project, which is going through planning now. The suitable candidate will have experience working with a contractor or developer already and would be offered a competitive salary and package.

This is a residential project, around £120 Million, mid rise RC Frame, building approximately 600 units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Report to and assist the Technical Manager
* Check all drawings and details for accuracy and correctness
* Liaise with external consultants to ensure deadlines are met.
* Attend meetings with the construction team in order to solve issues that arise during the construction process.
* Ensure that new regulation and legislation requirements are followed
* Ability to recognise potential issues and implement strategies or overcome them
* Ensures company standard of service and delivers on time
* Produce Cost Plans
* Develop the pre-construction programme
* Hold and attend management meetings


* Experience working as a Coordinator for a main contractor- Is a must!
* Confident to work independently and as part of a small team
* Demonstrate the skills to manage a small team
* Be able to complete their responsibilities without much supervision
* Ambitious and able to work under own initiative
