A highly successful company in Swansea is looking for a new Service Advisor to join their expanding Motor Team.


* Highly competitive salary of £18,000
* Working hours - Monday to Friday hours between 7.30am - 6.30pm (on a rota) and every other Saturday 8.00am - 1.00pm

The role:

* Convincingly convey the image of the brand, mediating successfully between the customers needs and desires and the interest of the company.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through professional manner, using their ability to remain reassuring to the customer during difficult situations.
* To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.

The role:

* Informing customers of their ongoing vehicle status
* Attend morning meetings with key members of staff
* Promoting of the Company and its values
* Engage in the VHC process to all van customers
* Duty of care to all work carried out
* Customer account management
* Updating of customer data on every visit
* Handing over finished vehicles to customers
* Giving customers detailed explanations on extent of repairs
* Monitoring whether repairs are being carried out to the required delivery time
* Discussing and arranging payment with customers
* Booking in of vehicles to ensure continuity of workshop loading
* Provide advice on warranties and service requirements
* In the case of legally required inspections, explaining the necessary vehicle test requirements
* Arrange schedules for MOT/Vehicle inspections

Essential Skills:

* Previous experience in a service advisor role in the motor industry
* Active listener, ability to communicate and generate enthusiasm within a team environment
* Appearance/manner, ability to make contact and build relationships
* Ability to make decisions within a pressure environment
* Has no difficulty adapting to a range of people showing varied patterns of behaviour
* General PC skills including kerridge
* Commitment/willingness to ensure customer expectations are achieved
