Service Desk Analyst / Bedfordshire / Contract role

Looking to kick start your contract career in I.T support?

One of the leading IT employers in Bedfordshire is looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join there 1st Line support team. For any contractor working as a Service Desk Analyst this would be a perfect position where you can hit the ground running and get stuck in immediately . If you have an interest in IT and are able to provide a high level of customer service this is the ideal role for you!

As a Service Desk Analyst you will be the first point of contact providing support for users on the Windows 7 operating system. You must have a good knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications like Office and Outlook and be comfortable working with hardware. An excellent telephone manner and strong written and verbal skills are important as customer service is a key part of the role. The ideal candidate will be able to absorb new information and be able to communicate clearly to users and the other members of your team.

Key requirements:



* Knowledge of desktop hardware, components and peripherals
* Experience of Windows 7 operating systems
* Understanding of Microsoft Exchange
* Able to use desktop software i.e Word, Email, Excel
* Strong customer service skills
* Knowledge of Active Directory
* IT Service Management awareness
