Are you looking for new exciting challenge to work on a long term civil engineering contract? Are you a Site Engineer with a recent background in highways? If so, then we really do have the perfect opportunity for you working alongside a well known highways contractor in the Kent area.

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Kent

Contract type: Freelance

Start Date: April 2019

Rate: £230 - £260 per day (rate negotiable - highly dependent on experience)

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a well known civils contractor, who holds and excellent reputation in the local region. This role could enable you to have the potential to move onto projects in the future and based on site.

Responsibilities include:

* Reporting in to a Site Agent
* Setting Out area, using the drawings provided
* Writing and reviewing risk assessment and method statements (RAMS)
* Ordering materials
* Liaising with site staff
* Keep onsite records
* Carrying out precise works to the specifications of a project

Requirements and experience include:

* Degree/HND Qualified
* AutoCAD
* Use of Total Stations of GPS
* Ability to explain design ideas and plan concisely
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Ability to work in a team to tight budgets and deadlines
