Site Manager

Contract Type - Permanent

Location - Dartford, Kent

Salary - £55k plus package


A Top Ten national Contractor are looking for a Site Manager to join their team. This Contractor has a focus on delivering fantastic customer service and a diverse project range which contributes towards a varied work load and new challenges!

You will initially be joining a new build education project in North Kent which with future education and commercial projects in Kent.


Seeking an experienced Site Manager who will primarily be based fom site in North Kent reporting to a visitng Contracts manager. Your duties will include the following:


* Main point of contact for Client, Sub-Contractors and Public.
* Managing completion and the handover to the client

* Ensure that the programme deadlines are achieved
* Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality
* Manage and maintain the project budgetary requirements
* Ensuring sufficient resources are in place; while maintaining budget for successful completion of the project.
* Providing regular progress updates to Directors


* Ideally previous experience as a Site Manager working for a Main Contractor
* Project experience in Education is preferable
* Proven history of project lead on projects up tp £6 million
* HNC / HND / Degree inConstruction Management is desirable but not a necessity
* Highly Organised
* Work well under pressure
