Soft Services Manager- Perm- Cheshunt- Up to 40k

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Soft Services Manager To manage the Soft Services Facilities on an extremely prestigious contract based in the Cheshunt area. You will be responsible for supervisiing the following areas, Fire & Security Services, Wastes Management, Cleaning Services and Vending Facilities. you will be responsible for ensuring service levels are maintained within time and cost constraints.

DUTIES:



* Responsibility for ensuring that all SLA's agreed in the contract meet the requirements of the client and company
* To ensure that services are provided in accordance with the terms of the Contract
* To deliver all services to client/company timescales
* To represent the company in a professional manner at all times
* To establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the client
* To take a pro-active approach to client issues/complaints
* To represent the company at client meetings
* Prepare and produce any reports documentation required for clients meetings
* To liaise regularly with the client and its representatives to ensure that the contract requirements are being met.
* Liaise with HR on all staff issues
* To recruit the best quality staff who fit the vacancy and the culture of the Client Site
* To ensure a cost effective approach when recruiting
* Develop staff to maximise their potential
* Ensure that all staff have adequate training to fulfil any roles they undertake
* Manage, develop and motivate the site team through regular team meetings, tool box talks, training and appraisals.
* To ensure the effective resolution of staff issues to the satisfaction of both the individual and the company.
* Effective utilisation of staff to ensure that staffing requirements on the site contract are maintained.To performance manage staff by informal counselling or the disciplinary process, when required, ensuring compliance with the company disciplinary procedure.
* Establish effective working-relationships with Company approved Suppliers and Sub-contractors
* Monitor work done by Suppliers and Sub-contractors - ensuring delivery of services in accordance with Contract requirements
* To resolve to the satisfaction of the company any issues relating to the performance of Suppliers/Sub-contractors
* To arrange and attend regular meetings with suppliers/subcontractors
* Liaise with Finance Department on all financial issues
* Ensure that the Contract operates within budgetary limits
* Ensure that financial targets set on the Contract are met
* Ensure all purchase invoices are verified, coded and authorised in accordance with company procedures
* Ensure that accurate finance records are kept in accordance in accordance with company requirements
* To submit any company financial reports within company guidelines.
* To ensure that the site remains compliant in its responsibilities regarding Health and Safety.
* To address any unsafe practices in the workplace in accordance with the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures and with support from the Health and Safety Manager.
* To ensure that all staff comply with company Health and Safety procedures.

This position is offering up to 30k- 25 days holiday and an excellent pension scheme.
