Are you a Registered Nurse looking to work with a leading care provider in the North East? If so, we are working with a home in Newcastle Upon Tyne that specialise in providing 24/7 residential care, elderly care, younger care, respite, end of life and nursing care to individuals with varying health needs. This home is looking for an experience nurse to work on a permanent basis on a night shift basis.

With excellent links to local transport, this 58 bed home with its own beautifully landscaped gardens, offering comfortable surroundings with a wide range of amenities and entertainment for residents including Tai Chi, aromatherapy sessions, as well as summer and winter fayres and coffee mornings to encourage residents' family and friends to attend and socialise.

This organisation will suit candidates who thrive in providing the highest levels of care and support, working as a tight knit team in a caring and supportive environment.
Hours of work are: 3/4 Night shifts per week on a night shift basis.
Competitive pay rate of £16 per hour
Shift pattern: 8pm-8am (1 hour break)

As a Registered Staff Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Administering medication to residents within the required time scales
- Changing dressings/ assisting care assistants
- Completing daily observations/notes
- Updating care plans
- Using the unit's system to record data and manage appointments for residents

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:
- An understanding of the role required from a Nurse in a home environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take the lead when needed.
The minimum requirements for this role are:
- NMC registered
- Nursing qualification (Mental Health, General or Learning Disabilities)
