Are you an experienced stock controller ready for your new role? Do you like working at a fast pace and feel a sense of achievement when you finish your task?

We are currently recruiting for a stock administrator in Wythall to start ASAP. The role is based in a head office, where you will be working with the house collections/ incoming goods team. We are looking for someone with stock control experience who is used to dealing with all administration duties.

Your Responsibilities as a stock controller



* To support the stock and merchandise strategy in line with the Supporter Services Operational plan, focusing on the operational activities of the role to meet agreed targets and activities.
* To work with the House Collections and New Goods Manager to ensure income targets are met.
* To network, nurture and build relationships essential to deliver plans and meet agreed targets.
* To process all new goods through the EPOS system to ensure robust inventory control.
* To facilitate all shop processes that relate to new goods to drive operational effectiveness and income.
* To manage all necessary administration that relate to the House Collection/ Clearance and New Goods operations.
* To facilitate the in house collection/ clearance service ensuring a pipeline of stock for the furniture stores.
* To ensure all processes are aligned to all legal requirements and the fulfilment of stock to the shops.
* Attend where necessary, any external meetings to identify opportunities to drive income namely house collections/clearance.
* Attend and supervise any house clearance upon request.
* To ensure that costs and resource are efficient at all times.
* To ensure that the organisation is fully aware of stock and merchandise activities through regular communication.
* To liaise with other departments such as marketing and communications
* To produce reports where necessary.
* To carry out any other reasonable duty as requested

Your skills/ responsibilities as a stock controller



* Experience of an administration environment/ retail environment
* Experience working in a stock controller role
* Experience of working to and meeting agreed targets and deadlines
* Excellent customer service skills
* Experience in using databases including inputting, retrieving data and running reports.
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work load and handle conflicting demands meeting tight deadlines.
* Good standard of IT Skills (Excel, typing etc.)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to understand, exhibit and implement excellent customer care attitude and behaviour
* Ability to show tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
* DBS will be required as you will be working alongside a care home
