The role of Stock Controller is integral to providing the market leading customer service that the company has built its reputation on. The role has full responsibility for forecasting, demand planning, order placing and progressing as well as playing a key part in the overall Supplier Management Programme focusing on performance management.

Responsibilities



* Providing excellent customers service with customers and supplies
* Managing of stock control systems to ensure inventory accuracy
* Maintain availability at, or as close as possible to, 100% across a multi-hundred SKU MRP group
* Co-ordinate deliveries from Suppliers, and receipt at point of delivery.
* Work with suppliers to improve performance
* Overall responsibility for Goods in and Out Areas.
* Work with key stakeholders (Purchasing, Sales, R&D) to optimise the flow of information around availability, stock value, forecasting accuracy, supplier performance
* Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the products and service within the Warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standard.
* Quality control
* Picking and packing/Loading and unloading
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements



* 3+ years as a Stock Controller/ Demand Planner within a fast supply chain environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experienced in managing large numbers of products within an MRP group
* Be experienced on SAP (or similar) MRP systems
* Proven ability to form relationships with key stakeholders
* Ability to work under pressure
* Able to work as part of a team
* Enthusiastic
* Good communication skills
* Driven to deliver an excellent customer service
