We are currently recruiting for a Strategic Sourcing Manager within a pharmaceutical company to manage day to day sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities within the role:Work with Head of Region to identify key vendors, product classes and territories to support company growth.Improve vendor payment terms and identify synergiesImprove key vendor performance through implementation and delivery of strategic objectives.Look for opportunities to develop exclusive supply relationships with manufacturersBuild and Manage relationships with key vendors to maximise opportunitiesMeasure supplier performance through KPIEnsure key suppliers are periodically assessed on a risk analysisReduce product acquisition costsDevise appropriate supply strategiesImprove and utilise the sourcing library and shared toolsEnsure the timely turnaround of enquiresCustomer service Manage, prioritise, and complete inquiries/projects to a high standardMaximise efficiencies within the clinical trials supply chain Ensure all licenses, documentation, audits are in orderWork with QA, Regulatory and Technical teams to identify opportunities to improve
supply chainMake sure business systems (e.g. CRM) are used accuratelyDevelop a strong working relationship other departmentsAttend client meetings in support of both the Project Management
The role can be based in either our Burton Upon Trent or Weybridge, Surrey office.
