Street Lighting Electrician required for ongoing work starting ASAP

This is an excellent long term opportunity for the appropriate candidate, working on a long term project in Gateshead

Work Details

* 39 hours per week minimum

* Mainly based at head office but potential to be out in the field maintaining street lighting

* Rate is dependant on payment option chosen

* Long term role available for the appropriate candidate (up to a 2 year contract)


* Maintenance of 20,000 lanterns working in a office area, replacing old components and renewing and testing.

* Will be expected to carry out around 100 per day .

* Instalation and maintenance of streetlighting and possibly other highways assets

* Fuse Pulling

* Cable Jointing

* Working at Heights to test, inspect & install lighting

Qualifications Required

* 18th Edition
* Manual Handling, Face Fit and asbestos awareness
* CSCS Card
* Driving license is highly desired, preferably will have a pre 97 license

Ideally will also have

* First Aid
* G39
* National Power Grid Fuse Fulling and Switching (desired not essential)
* Pre 97 driving license (desired not essential)

* Minimum of 2 working references for work in a similar contract
