Ambitious, motivated and talented Structural Modelling Technician needed to join the London buildings section of this global multi-disciplinary consulting engineering practice.

The firm work on a wide variety of major projects including high rise, facades, commercial, residential, urban developments, long span roofs and work with top name architects. You would get the opportunity to work on a mix of UK and overseas.

You will be reporting in to the BIM Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Project BIM Execution Plan is adhered to and all BIM related activities are carried out as instructed. You will also be responsible for checking both yours and more junior technicians' work. You will be creating, modifying and reviewing 3D models using CAD applications including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, Nacisworks and 3D Studio Max.

You should have several years experience in a similar role and the company would prefer an industry relevant Bachelors degree. You must be proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks. You should also be familiar with 3rd party BIM application platforms including but not limited to Rhino/Grasshopper, Tekla, Etabs, SketchUp, Google Earth and Solibri as well as Microsoft Office. You should also have an understanding of Phase Planning (4D0, Cost Estimation (5D), and Facilities and Asset Management (6D) BIM Integration and data management. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to present your work in a clear and concise manner.
