A new Site Supervisor position has just arrived in Cambridge!

* Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
* Contract type: Freelance
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: 9 months
* Salary/Rate: £18 - £22 per hour

The Company

A fit-out contractor specialising in internal fit-out / refurbishment projects nationwide. They are now developing their market presence in Cambridgeshire and looking to expand their workforce in line with this growth.

The Project

A Cat B office fit-out, value £4million, with full internal finishes to a high spec. The project involves a particularly complex M+E element.

The Role

As the Site Supervisor you will provide assistance to the Site Manager which will involve but not be limited to:

* Site safety i.e. inductions, checking RAMS, weekly site audits and daily inspections.
* Management of site labour works ensuring it carried out in a safe manner.
* Responsible for quality control of the works completed by labour.
* Attend the weekly site team meeting.
* Assist with daily diaries.
* Site Health & Safety representative during periods of holiday etc.

About You

* You will have gained circa 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
* Have the correct CITB and First Aid qualifications for the position i.e. CSCS Supervisor, SSSTS and First Aid at Work certificates/cards.
* Recent and relevant experience - must have experience supervising internal packages.
* Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
