This vacancy is office based assisting with all aspects of stock on the SAP inventory system and will be based at Philips Guildford, GU2 8XG and has an immediate start date available, required until end of 2019 with potential to extend further.

Pay Rate and Working Hours:



* Monday to Friday 09:00AM to 17:00PM (37.5 hours PER WEEK standard)
* £10.75 PER HOUR

* plus overtime

Responsibilities:



* Review stock and back orders on a daily basis and allocate stock according to the Customer Demand Plans
* Update allocations that have been given by commercial management and see that total amounts are allocated correctly to customers/channels
* Process stock transfers from Philips warehouse to third party locations for extra-work etc. and advise internal customers accordingly and in line with company policy. Maintain Good Stock Movements internally at warehouse
* Liaise with Order Desk, Marketing, Demand Planners, Forwarding Agents, Warehouse and Distribution to ensure the smooth operation of the supply process
* Participate in Cross-training to provide effective cover
* Participate in customer meetings and projects as directed by the management


Requirements:



* IT proficiency with a good level of knowledge within MS Excel
* Great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Methodical and organised
* Experience using SAP or the ability to learn new systems quickly
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Understands the meaning of team work
* Strong numerical analytical skills
* Experience or understanding of manufacturing environments and experience within an administration / supply chain / stock control role.
