Helping vulnerable people fit in has been at the centre of what we've always done an now 100 years on, we're proud of being a specialist residential school and college for under 25's who have a variety of disabilities. We lead research into neuro conditions for under 25's across the Uk, linking with Great Ormond Street and other top institutes. What are your responsibilities?



* Promoting health and well being - help vulnerable young people learn to look after themselves so they can reap the rewards of areas of their life that have been hidden for so long. Let them discover long walks in the fresh country air...let them play with the animals on site...
* Encouraging independence through life choices and teaching core values - you are their role model and you can be a living breathing example of success
* Safeguard and look after students in all environments in line with their care plans - life is a journey for all of us and for those who are vulnerable, they will fall more times than most. Can you pick them up, dust them off and motivate them to keep trying in everything they do?
* Work with medical staff, Physiotherapists, Social Workers towards objectives set out - whether it's learning to utilise motor skills we take for granted, picking up a toothbrush for themselves, saying "hello," asking you how your day is...these may seem trivial but are life changing moments for some people. Can you take charge of this?
* Looking after our vulnerable people's personal care and upholding their dignity and respect whilst doing so

What is required?



* You MUST have your own car because of our location
* A true passion to want to change lives and progress your career
* Working hours are 6:45am to 2pm and 1:45pm to 10pm
* Part time weekends, term time and full time options available - ask for more details!
