Our client is a high quality provider of support to individuals with a wide range of care needs including learning disabilities, mental health and other needs. We are looking for mature Support Workers in Crawley area with a friendly, caring attitude. You will provide person centred care and support to older people with support needs to enable them to live as independently as possible in the community. Your role will include providing support as part of a structured approach and offering personal care and practical and emotional support in-line with personal care plans. We want the best and are prepared to pay accordingly: £9 - £12 per hour.

The role:

- To develop warm, trusting relationships with service users to encourage them to express needs, views and concerns.

- To providing respectful personal care, practical and emotional support to older people

- To advise and support service users in all aspects of managing their tenancy and maintaining safety, hygiene and comfort of their home.

- Assist service users with general activities of daily living including: personal care, medication, shopping, meal preparation, domestic tasks, laundry and ironing

The Applicant Requirements:

Experience is not essential for this role; however, you must have a warm, caring and respectful personality to succeed in this role. We welcome applications from experienced practitioners, graduates and individuals looking to pursue a career in social care. It is expected that you will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
