A beautiful school set on extensive, country grounds are looking for a class Key Worker to work in a classroom with children who have physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties. You will be responsible for promoting all aspects of personal development and individual progress for a group of key students in a pathway class.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring effective communication with and between staff and students
-Delivering particular strategies and programmes for students
-Taking a lead in regards to general support duties including providing physical management and personal care
-Providing a safe and positive classroom environment
-Supporting students in their education and in overcoming barriers to learning

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
-Excellent communication skills
-An aspiration to enable students to learn and achieve independence
-At least two professional references
-A passion for and an interest in SEN and physical disabilities

(Own means of transport is essential).
