A brilliant Special Educational Needs school near Westerham are looking for an energetic and dedicated Key Worker. You will be working with children who have physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties in educational setting. A Key Worker's focus is to support children in their learning and physical care in order to promote their independence and improve their individual progress. Your responsibilities will include:
-Supporting key students in the classroom, including physical management and personal care
-Communicating effectively with staff, parents/carers and external agencies
-Coordinating personalised programmes for each key student within the class and residential setting
-Keeping concise and comprehensive records
-Maintaining high standards of safety

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
-A passion for and an interest in SEN and physical disabilities
-Own means of transport is essential
-Excellent communication skills
-The ability to work flexible shift patterns
-At least two professional references
-Up-to-date manual handling training
