We have a fantastic opportunity in a wonderful school situated in the Bradford area, who are currently looking for an SEN Secondary Teacher. The school caters for children aged 11-19 with complex social, communication and interaction difficulties including autism and ADHD.

The school provides a vibrant learning environment offering an enriched curriculum matched to the needs of the child. The school has access to provision for Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. They have a strong leadership team, who are all responsible for different aspects of the school such as behaviour, well being etc.

Pupils have a range of Special Educational Needs, mostly consisting of autism, learning difficulties, social and communication difficulties and some challenging behaviour. The ability to adapt and differentiate work in accordance to the varied needs of the pupils is essential, support and mentoring can be provided for NQTs and they are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for these excellent opportunities you must:

- Have some experience teaching children with additional needs in a Mainstream, or Specialist SEN Setting
- Have a strong classroom presence and sound behaviour management skills
- Have a DBS on the update service, or be prepared to apply for one with us
- Have Eligibility to work in the UK
- Have QTS or equivalent Qualification
