Can you make school a social and exciting experience for your students?

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic HLTA to take responsibility for teaching a class of 4-8 pupils, to improve the school lives of boys aged 10-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into an interactive and practical curriculum, boasting such activities as forest school and boxing!

Your responsibilities will include:
-Setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
-Encouraging positive progress and outcomes
-Planning and teaching well-structured lessons
-Managing behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning development
-Deploying support staff effectively
-Giving pupils regular feedback and encouraging them to respond to it

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-The ability to adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
-The ability to create a positive, stimulating and an innovative environment for learning
-Their own means of transport (essential)
-QTS or good teaching experience
-Experience with and an understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
