With your support and guidance you will ensure that your students can effectively learn effective communication and independence skills.

Job responsibilities:
- Assist the main teacher to support students on outdoor educational trips and work experience days
- Ensure that students feel motivated and comforted in each session
- Advise students to understand the Social and emotional needs of other students
- Participate in all training sessions and staff meetings each week
- Use Makaton throughout the day and help students to learn new signs
- Group and one to one interventions

Key Skills:
- Have an understanding of Autism and Speech and language needs
- Must be adaptable to work alongside students from KS1 - College level
- Must have your own means of transport
