The learners are on different levels of the Autistic spectrum. Your role is absolutely essential to the development and progression of the students. Your role will require:
Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
Engage with the learners to keep them on task
Enable learners to attain skills to develop their independence
Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required

The skills required:
Good maths and English
Previous experience working with Autistic learners is desirable
Patience and flexibility to deal with changes
Ability to look after the students' physical, social and emotional welfare
