Can you engage a vulnerable young person?

Pupils at Key Stage 3 (up to year 9) are supported to overcome barriers to learning and will usually return to a mainstream school or be placed in a new school with a fresh start.

Pupils in year 10 and year 11 may remain until they reach school leaving age because they are undertaking examination courses.

The main aim is to ensure that all the young people have access to a caring and safe learning environment.

They are encouraged to re-engage in learning in order to grow into successful members of their communities.

At Key stage 4 pupils are able to gain a range of qualifications in order to move on to employment or further education.

They also have access to alternative provisions linking to college courses, training providers and work placements.
