Two Learning Support Assistants and one teaching assistant are being sought for a school that specialises in supporting learners with their studies to achieve their true potential within the Tilbury area of Essex. This is to start in September 2018.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Liaising with the teacher regarding the needs of the learners
* Supporting learners with behavioural and emotional difficulties
* Observing behaviour and reporting to the teacher

An ideal candidate would possess the following capabilities and competencies:
* Level 2/3 qualification in Learning Support
* A clear understanding of SEND, emotional, social and behavioural difficulties and mental health
* Building a rapport with individuals and maintaining those links with them
* Breaking down those barriers that could limit an individual's potential to learn
* Be willing to take on challenging behaviour and be able to differentiate between the person and the behaviour
