Are you a Team Leader with experience in Material Coordinating that is looking for a new and exciting challenge in Norfolk? If so then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

To provide support, encouragement and direction for team members. To ensure goods received on site for Production, are received, booked in, stored, routed correctly and delivered at the right time to the correct delivery location. Ensure that IFS stock accurately reflects actual stock held. Ensure that the internal &external Kanban bin systems work effectively and that the despatch of all required goods (parts and containers) is carried out efficiently.

* Team related

- Support and encouragement for team to ensure objectives are achieved

- Effective handover to other teams /shifts

- Organising absence cover for team tasks

- Deputise for Supervisor in their absence

- Reporting personnel issues to Supervisor / Manager

- Ensuring team is working within Health and Safety Guidelines

- Plan job rotation to encourage individual and team flexibility

* Task Related

- Ensuring goods are received, booked in and routed correctly

- Launching of new kanban bins in to the system for new parts

- Movement of material within the Factories as required

- Accurate location of material inappropriate storage or on-line location

- Safe operation of Fork Lift and High Bay Side Entry Lift Trucks

- Maintenance of IFS with respect to stock quantity and locations accuracy

- Issue of material from stores

- Supporting the handover of manufacturing projects into production

- Organising the despatch of materials required

- Working within Safety Guidelines (including movement of Dangerous Goods)

Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria):

Essential Criteria:

* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Organised, flexible, attention to detail, team player, right first time pro-active approach, good communicator, leadership skills.
* Experience in a material handling role within manufacturing / stores environment.
* Word, Excel, IFS proficient.
